Chocolate Egg Mousse is the perfect choice to impress your guests, without having to spend hours in the kitchen. In this article, I will show you how to prepare Chocolate Egg Mousse for 6 or 8 people.
We will start with the preparation of the chocolate egg, then move on to the preparation of the mousse and the final decoration.
Our Chocolate Mousse Gluten-free Mix
Preparing the Chocolate EggFirst, get a 250g chocolate egg and carefully cut it in half, trying to keep one half intact.
Use the other half to make chocolate chips to use as decoration once the Mousse is ready.
Preparation of the Chocolate Mousse
Water 100g of Farage Chocolate Mousse mix in a large bowl and add 250ml fresh cream. Using an electric whisk, emulsify the mixture for about 4 minutes until it has a velvety, creamy consistency.
Pour the Mousse into the chocolate egg half and let it rest in the refrigerator for about an hour or two. This way, the Mousse will firm up and the flavor will intensify.
Decorating the Chocolate Mousse
Before serving, decorate your Chocolate Mousse with fresh red fruits and the chocolate chips you have previously prepared.
If you want to add an extra touch, prepare a red fruit coulis as an accompaniment on each dessert portion.
P.s.: I used seasonal flowers to decorate my egg. Always make sure they are edible flowers!
